Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Contract Analyst I to monitor and analyze purchasing trends, identify opportunities to reduce operating expenses and support contract analytics across departments. The role collaborates with Sourcing, Buying, Legal and Supply Chain leadership to optimize procurement processes.

Role requires Excel expertise, analytical skills and experience with contract systems. On-site position with a focus on benchmarking, data interpretation, and implementation of compliant contracts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare or related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• CMRP certification preferred.
• Solid experience with a variety of software programs; expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze trends within contract purchases to identify opportunities to reduce operating expenses for med/surgical products, services and equipment.
• Develop, modify and monitor contract processing procedures and activities; liaise between departments, vendors and Legal.
• Perform category/department benchmarking, price analyses and contracting with Sourcing and Buying teams.
• Support the item file function and Daily Exception Report for the department; maintain contract analytics tools.
