Qualifications

• 8+ years of integrated content strategy, editorial, or content marketing experience, ideally with financial services or fintech.
• Experience leading or building a content practice, team, or function within an agency or in-house.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills across formats with a strong command of financial topics.
• Experience developing and winning new business, including pitches and proposals.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a network of freelance or contract content talent.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident engaging with senior clients and stakeholders.
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow content strategy as a distinct practice area within Vested, setting the vision and offerings.
• Lead or oversee delivery of content projects and retainers for clients with quality and strategic alignment.
• Partner with PR, digital, and creative teams to ensure integrated, channel-appropriate content programs.
• Build and manage a bench of vetted freelance copywriters across financial services content types.
• Mentor Vesties and develop junior and mid-level team members contributing to content programs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for content-led programs and contribute to pitches.
• Design and lead internal training sessions and VestEds to upskill colleagues.
• Develop and champion AI-assisted content practices, establishing guardrails and workflows.
