D.R. Horton is seeking a Purchasing Agent to bid on new projects, manage scopes of work, track blueprints and design changes, and support cost analyses. The role supports the Purchasing Department of the Fortune 500 homebuilder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-qualify subcontractors.
• Setup and monitor option costs and sales prices.
• Maintain and update current budgets.
• Spread revised bids and obtain approval for any price increases.
• Prepare direct costs analysis and variances for review.
• Input original Direct Costs budget.
• Execute lot starts and final proof all unit costs.
