Apogee Construction is seeking a Construction Estimator to produce cost estimates for complex construction projects and help develop competitive bids. This role requires analytical thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to gather data from plans and specifications.

The candidate will collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients to ensure accurate scope, schedule, and cost alignment, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• 4 year degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience preferred; strong understanding of construction processes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and general tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Certifications such as CPE are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Develop unit costs and maintain project cost history.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required.
• Develop and submit competitive bids meeting client requirements.
• Analyze project plans and blueprints to determine scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate job schedules.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for best prices and timely delivery.
• Interact with clients, architects, engineers, and jurisdictions to align objectives, schedules, costs.
• Promote the company to grow business.
