Job summary

ENFRA seeks a Director of Construction to lead regional field operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time, on-budget project delivery. You will mentor field leaders, align with SVP IS Delivery Region, and coordinate with PMs, subcontractors and sustainability teams.

Role requires 15+ years in large commercial construction, with 5+ in leadership, and a strong track record of strategic planning, risk management and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Eng, Arch or related field.
• 15+ years in large, complex commercial construction.
• At least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong negotiation, mentoring and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VPs, IS Delivery and implement strategic goals of SVP, IS Delivery Region.
• Report to SVP, IS Delivery Region.
• Enforce company policies across field operations to align with goals and standards.
• Coordinate with executive leadership to align field operations with growth objectives.
• Provide expertise in planning, resource allocation, and operational strategies to support project delivery and profitability.
• Champion a culture of safety, ensuring OSHA/ICRA compliance and safety policies.
• Coordinate with HSE on safety training, incident reporting and risk mitigation.
• Monitor safety metrics and lead zero-incident initiatives across sites.
• Review field operations to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery per client specs.
• Drive efficiency by standardizing processes and leveraging technology.
• Coordinate between PMs, superintendents and subcontractor/vendor teams for momentum and quality.
• Contribute to IS Delivery Quality Control standards and inspections.
• Maintain rigorous quality control and QA protocols.
• Address quality issues promptly to protect project integrity.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and manage performance and risk.
• Lead subcontractor selection, negotiations and evaluations for reliability.
• Plan preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation for success.
• Collaborate with teams to address risks and opportunities during planning and execution.
• Guide on resource utilization to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Build and lead a high-performing field ops team; mentor leaders.
• Act as primary client contact to meet needs throughout project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, sustainability and PM teams to secure repeat business.
• Represent ENFRA at industry events and client meetings to build brand.
