You will lead strategic plans, build key client relationships, and drive proposals across industrial, healthcare, higher education, and other sectors. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and seven years of BD in construction, strong communication, and CRM skills. You will collaborate with teams to grow market share and represent Rycon at events.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management, or related field.
Minimum of seven years of business development experience in construction with a proven track record.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships across multiple sectors.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including executive presentations.
Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business development tools.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to grow market share.
Identify and pursue high-value leads across multiple construction sectors.
Cultivate relationships with decision-makers, clients, and industry influencers.
Lead client engagement, including preselling, meetings, and proposals.
Manage proposal development with internal teams to align with client needs.
Analyze market trends and competition to inform strategic initiatives.
Partner with leadership to assess Go/No-Go opportunities and provide insights.
Oversee CRM management and pipeline activity tracking.
Represent Rycon Construction at industry events and community engagements.
Drive targeted marketing to boost brand visibility in key markets.
