Job summary

Artisan Partners is seeking an intellectually curious Competitive Intelligence Associate to support Global Distribution by translating industry, product and competitor data into actionable insights. The role combines competitive intelligence, market analysis, product strategy and sales enablement to inform commercial and strategic decision-making.

Salary Range: $100,000-$165,000 with discretionary bonus potential. Base salary will reflect geographic location and relevant experience.

Qualifications

4–8+ years in asset management or competitive intelligence or related role.
Strong investment and business judgment; familiarity with benchmarks and investment vehicles.
Experience with structured and unstructured financial data and research platforms.

Responsibilities

Monitor industry trends, asset flows, pricing and competitor activity across strategies.
Analyze Artisan investment strategies relative to peers using market data platforms.
Develop competitive positioning translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Prepare executive and governance reporting for funds and vehicles.
Contribute to strategic projects on product gaps, pricing and share class strategy.
Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal/Compliance and Data teams.
Improve CI workflows and ensure responsible use of AI tools with controls.
