Job summary

Google is seeking a Community Development Manager to drive multi-disciplinary community initiatives across data center markets. You will coordinate with municipal leaders, industry partners, and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with community needs and business goals.

You will lead data-driven engagement, build partnerships to accelerate infrastructure delivery, and protect Google’s license to operate globally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in program or project management.
5 years of experience in a leadership role.
Experience working with local municipalities, associations, key opinion formers, non-profit decision makers, education institutions, and community members.
Ability to travel 25% of the time as required.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with KOFs, municipal leaders, industry partners, and non-profits to ensure initiatives align with both community needs and business objectives.
Collaborate with team leaders and peers to scale sub regional community affairs coverage in emerging markets with place-based frameworks.
Develop communication tools to educate local communities on data center impact and implement localized investment plans and workforce goals.
Build and maintain internal relationships with stakeholders across multiple Google teams.
