Job summary

Meta Platforms, Inc. seeks an experienced community development professional to build and sustain relationships with local officials, business groups, school districts and nonprofits.

The role partners with site selection, operations and public policy teams to advance local initiatives and mitigate risks to infrastructure projects. You will lead regional community development plans, coordinate charitable activities, report risks to leadership, and travel up to 50% to support global data center

Qualifications

7+ years in public affairs, nonprofit management, government relations or public engagement.
Experience handling nonprofit grants, donations and CSR planning.
Ability to handle confidential information and coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain relationships with key data center stakeholders and partners.
Coordinate with site selection, operations and policy teams on local initiatives.
Lead community development planning and strategy in regional markets.
Manage external relationships through engagements and media interviews.
Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% as needed.
