Job summary

Meta Platforms, Inc. seeks an experienced professional to join its data center community development team in the United States.

The role will partner with site selection, operations, communications and public policy to advance community initiatives and maintain important relationships in each data center region. The candidate will build stakeholder relationships, manage the community development plan, coordinate charitable activities, and lead multiple projects while travel up to 50% to engage

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in public affairs, nonprofit management, government relations, economic development, or public-facing engagement.
• Experience with nonprofit grants, donation and CSR planning.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information and coordinate multiple projects.
• Strong cross-functional and external stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with local/state policy and legislative processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and manage relationships with key data center stakeholders.
• Partner with internal teams to advance company goals locally.
• Maintain and optimize the data center community development plan.
• Build relationships with community partners to support infrastructure development.
• Monitor local needs and report risks to leadership.
• Lead projects related to data centers and engage in media interviews in local markets.
