CYNWAVE Solutions seeks a Senior Writer for MEDCOM's Comprehensive Strategic Communications program to convert leadership guidance into speeches, features, releases, briefings, and social content for Soldiers, Families, MEDCOM leadership, Congress, and partners.

The role leads updates to the Strategic Communication Plan and Monthly Status Report, working on-site with a Photographer/Videographer and Multimedia Designer as a production team in Falls Church, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or closely related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of professional writing experience, including executive or command-level writing.
• Demonstrated command of AP style; familiarity with Army public affairs guidance (AR 360-1) strongly preferred.
• Ability to work full-time onsite at Falls Church, VA under Government-defined core hours.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/NACI and Government-issued CAC.

Responsibilities

• Write command-level speeches, feature stories, articles, news releases, briefings, and public information content.
• Interview subjects on MEDCOM topics to create original, audience-tailored content.
• Develop outreach campaigns and strategic communication plans for major initiatives.
• Analyze and update stakeholder analysis and the Strategic Communication Plan.
• Adhere to AP style and AR 360-1; support review and approval cycles.
