Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, marketing, media, journalism or related field is required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in advertising, communications, marketing, media, or public relations.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, writes and edits content across VUSN's platforms and channels.
  • Writes and edits editorial copy for diverse audiences including students, alumni, faculty and media.
  • Interviews faculty, staff, students and alumni and crafts compelling profiles.
  • Researches and writes news articles; may attend lectures and events for reporting.
  • Ensures editorial quality, brand consistency and accuracy across communications.
  • Supports social media efforts and contributes content ideas for channels.
