Job summary

Censeo Consulting Group, based in Washington, D.C., seeks Communications Specialists at multiple experience levels to support the GSA ACES program. You will plan, develop, and deliver clear communications for employees, stakeholders, and program teams, translating complex topics for diverse audiences in a fast-paced federal environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong writing, editing, and verbal skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and adapt messaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, business, public administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting strategic communications, internal communications, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, content development, change communications, or related activities.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, concise communications.
• Experience developing communications plans, presentations, articles, newsletters, announcements, talking points, or similar materials.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with government leaders, program teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished communications products.
• Ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
• Experience with digital communications, content management, visual communications, or analytics is a plus.
• Experience supporting GSA or federal agency is preferred.
• Credentials in communications, public relations, change management, or project management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of communications plans, strategies, and campaigns for programs and organizational initiatives.
• Draft, edit, and review communications materials including announcements, newsletters, articles, presentations, talking points, and briefing materials.
• Translate complex program, acquisition, technical, or organizational information into clear communications for different audiences.
• Collaborate with government leaders, program teams, and subject matter experts to identify communications needs and messaging.
• Develop communications calendars, content schedules, trackers, and tools to coordinate activities.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement to inform on priorities and changes.
• Develop executive communications, presentations, briefing materials, and talking points as needed.
• Coordinate review, approval, and distribution of communications materials.
• Support communications for meetings, events, workshops, training, and stakeholder engagements.
