Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism, or related field required.
• Experience: Five years or greater of progressively responsible communications, public relations or journalism experience in healthcare or highly regulated industry.
• Software/Hardware: All Microsoft products, social media, intranet publishing, AI usage required. Design software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the pulse of the workforce and their needs and desires for communication.
• Develop and maintain an internal communications plan aligned with strategy, culture, safety, workforce and change priorities.
• Create and manage an editorial calendar for employee communications across channels.
• Develop content for internal communications vehicles in partnership with Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
• Partner with HR, Patient Experience, Quality, Operations and exec leaders to translate complex information.
• Tell stories of employees and promote recognition of talents and accomplishments.
• Measure employee communication reach and engagement and recommend improvements.
