Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Strategic Communications Manager 2 to lead the CORE content, outreach and resource execution team across our Space portfolio. This role requires coordinating with cross-functional partners to translate strategy into compelling, multi-channel communications that support priority campaigns and capabilities.

You will guide a diverse team, develop integrated plans and measure impact using data, while building strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in a Communications role OR 4+ years with a Master.
• People leadership experience with talent development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience in leading communications programs for leadership audiences (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Content Execution CORE team with day-to-day direction.
• Own CORE operations: intake, resourcing, workflows and process improvement.
• Partner with strategy, operations and division partners to tell the Space story.
• Translate strategy into execution plans for priority campaigns and capabilities.
• Develop integrated communications plans and narratives for major initiatives.
• Use data and feedback to assess impact and refine content and channels.
• Collaborate with leaders to align priorities and ensure consistent execution.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and performance coaching to the team.
