Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Communications Manager to join a global pharmaceutical client. The role is hybrid in Lake County, IL, with a pay range of $41-46.88/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities include drafting external communications to suppliers, coordinating with Legal and Compliance, and ensuring messaging reflects client values and the Code of Conduct. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of communications experience, preferably in healthcare or bio-pharma

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 6+ years of experience in internal/external communications.
• Healthcare/pharma industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and trend awareness.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and finalize external communications to suppliers for the project.
• Ensure communications are professional, accurate, action-oriented and compliant with the Code of Conduct.
• Include changes, actions, system/process changes, and supplier actions for the Coupa Supplier Portal.
• Coordinate review with Legal, Compliance, and Procurement leadership before external release.
• Align communication waves with the Change Management calendar and region-specific needs.
• Distribute communications to intended external audiences via approved channels.
• Monitor mailbox and supplier responses, routing issues to the right contacts.
• Support post-send analysis including tracking distribution and responses.
