HDR is seeking a Strategic Communications Manager to lead a dynamic team across Minnesota and Wisconsin, driving community engagement and communication strategies for infrastructure projects. You will grow mature programs, develop staff, and support business development in multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 10 years experience is preferred-based on role.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for operations of production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Serve as a communications strategist, project manager, or technical lead on key projects while maintaining strong technical expertise and client service.
• Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
• Support the growth of Strategic Communications services across Minnesota and Wisconsin by identifying opportunities, supporting pursuits, and building client relationships.
• Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
• See that all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management system.
• Implement, monitor and support company policy.
