Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple communications projects with tight deadlines.
• Experience in public sector communications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Writes, edits, and distributes professional communications to internal and external audiences.
• Creates and manages an internal newsletter for HCJC employees.
• Reviews and updates communication strategies and infrastructure.
• Identifies grant funding opportunities in collaboration with the Presiding Judge.
• Acts as media contact and spokesperson as directed.
• Maintains and updates the HCJC website and ensures brand consistency.
• Provides crisis communication direction with judges and administration.
• Monitors national news on juvenile justice topics for impact on HCJC.
