Constellation seeks a Strategic Communications Advisor in Washington, DC, offering hybrid work. The role leads strategic communications efforts for senior leadership, employees, stakeholders, and external audiences, developing clear messaging and managing internal and external communications.

Responsibilities include developing annual plans, executive messaging, and media support. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of messaging experience, with strong writing and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years of experience in messaging for complex business functions or programs
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS CBP Tier 5 Background Investigation
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual strategic communications plans with objectives, messaging and performance tracking
• Partner with senior leadership to develop executive messaging, talking points, remarks, and presentations
• Create communications strategies for programs and organizational priorities
• Maintain reference materials and a repository of strategic communications information
• Manage content on SharePoint/intranet ensuring accuracy and accessibility
• Publish quarterly newsletters and other recurring communications
• Support public affairs and media activities including press materials and interview prep
• Create communications products for meetings, events and announcements
• Draft talking points and leadership remarks for engagements
• Review and maintain content on the cbp.gov public site
