Moment Strategies, based in downtown Detroit, MI, seeks a Communications Director to provide strategic leadership for its client portfolio and communications team. Reporting to the Founder & CEO, you will mentor managers and associates and guide crisis and issue advocacy engagements.

You will partner with leadership on proposals, growth, and client retention, ensuring profitability and high-quality work across all accounts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, business, or related field.
• 10 years of progressive communications experience.
• 5 years of experience leading and developing communications teams.
• Demonstrated success leading crisis communications and high-profile issue campaigns.
• Senior-level client counseling skills and executive presence.
• Strong network of media, civic, business, and government relationships in Michigan.
• Proven business development and new client acquisition experience.
• Experience managing account budgets and profitability.
• Master’s degree or Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic leadership for the Firm's client portfolio and communications team.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Communications Managers, Senior Communications Associates, and Communications Associates.
• Set strategy for crisis communications, public relations, and issue advocacy engagements.
• Personally lead high-profile and crisis response work and oversee quality across accounts.
• Partner with Firm leadership on business development, proposals, and growth.
• Accountable for client retention, account profitability, and team performance.
