The Ash Group is hiring a Communications Consultant (24691) for our client, a major electricity and natural gas utility provider, in Minneapolis, MN. This 12-month contract role is hybrid and offers compensation up to $55/hr W2 based on skill set.

Responsibilities include developing copy, collaborating with marketing teams to gather requirements, editing, and delivering promotional materials on multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in communications
• Proficient with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Planner, and Tasks
• Understanding marketing communications metrics across channels
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and write copy for a wide range of projects.
• Consult with marketing representatives and subject matter experts to gather information and requirements, including style and length of copy.
• Edit or rewrite copy quickly as necessary.
• Prepare articles, bulletins, marketing materials, and promotional materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
• Demonstrate creativity and adapt language and tone based on audience, product, and medium.
