Job summary

Association of Village Council Presidents is seeking a Communications Specialist to promote transparency by creating content for social media, newsletters, and the AVCP website. Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to learn graphic design software and some photography/video editing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AVCP social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
• Create, layout/design and publish the monthly employee newsletter.
• Assist in publication of AVCP’s Annual Report.
• Assist in maintaining the AVCP website as needed.
• Contribute to content creation and layout/design of the quarterly newsletter.
• Photograph events and staff.
• Maintain organized media library.
• Assist in production and editing of videos.
• Present Communications information at New Employee Orientation.
• Assist in development and editing of department publications and signage.
• Other duties as assigned.
