Job summary

BPI Group is an outcomes agency seeking a public affairs professional to support client engagements and craft communications strategies across campaigns. You will collaborate with strategists, data scientists, and researchers to identify client needs, craft messages, and track outcomes.

Requirements include 3+ years in public affairs or PR, strong writing and presentation skills, and experience with Hill or political media. Hybrid work with in-office presence at DC, NYC, SF, CHI, or LA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public affairs, strategic communications or public relations experience, preferably in a communications agency, nonprofit, political or corporate communications setting
• Exceptional presentation, writing and analytical skills and the ability to write both strategically and creatively under tight timelines
• Proven project management experience
• Experience working on the Hill and/or pitching political reporters required

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the communications strategy for public affairs campaigns
• Support client engagements and day-to-day account activities
• Draft and edit written materials such as briefing documents, press releases, advisories, blogs, and social content
• Support media outreach efforts and pitch stories
• Plan and assist in executing events and key moments for clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client objectives
