Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Communications Advisor for a 9-month contract (W‑2) to develop communication strategies, draft content for internal and external audiences, and support senior team members. Location: Juno Beach, FL.

You will coordinate projects and campaigns, monitor effectiveness, and provide daily support to the communications team. A bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years’ experience are required, with MS Office, PowerPoint, Teams, and tools like AI, Canva, and Adobe Acrobat

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, or marketing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Teams; familiarity with AI, Canva, and Adobe Acrobat.
• 2+ years of experience supporting communications in a corporate or agency setting.
• Experience with AP Style.
• Familiarity with renewable energy or utility industry communications helpful.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement communication plans, key messages, and campaigns to support goals.
• Draft and edit content for multiple channels, including print ads, event invitations or notices, presentations, and internal communications.
• Support the coordination and logistics of events and meetings.
• Help monitor media coverage and team member feedback and prepare reports on communications effectiveness.
• Provide administrative and project support to senior communications team members.
• Help gather information to inform messaging and campaign development.
