Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing and applying writing and communication standards.
• Proven ability to create style guides and templates across branding systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop written style guides covering writing and communication best practices
• Develop presentation and report templates using existing branding guidelines and communication standards
• Establish guidelines and best practices for presenting data through charts, tables, graphics, and other visual formats
• Apply recognized data visualization principles and industry best practices to communication materials
• Develop training materials covering visual storytelling, chart design, table design, and graphic design
• Deliver in-person training sessions to teams and individual team members
• Provide ongoing guidance and subject matter expertise on communication standards
• Review reports, presentations, and related deliverables against established communication standards
• Provide constructive feedback to improve the quality and consistency of team deliverables
• Support adoption and consistent application of communication standards across the team
• Produce or contribute to selected external-facing deliverables, including reports, presentations, and Board materials
• Work independently as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities
• Adapt communication standards and visual storytelling practices to a technical and data-driven environment
• Build upon existing templates, branding systems, and communication practices rather than developing standards from scratch
• Transfer knowledge and established communication practices to internal team members
• Support the development of durable communication processes and standards that can be sustained after the engagement
