SupplyCore is hiring a Commodity Manager to lead a strategic commodity portfolio, shaping growth, market intelligence, and customer-ready solutions. You will enable Account Managers and cross-functional teams with supplier and market insights while aligning with DoD and GSA requirements.

The role requires translating trends into repeatable concepts, supporting pursuits, and collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Analytics. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in category management, supplier relations, or defense-related procurement.
• Strong ability to translate supplier capabilities, market trends, and customer needs into solutions and growth strategies.
• Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Government contracting and federal procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity growth strategies aligned with objectives and priorities.
• Create category roadmaps, market maps, and growth priorities with support from Analytics.
• Serve as internal SME for Account Managers and cross-functional teams with product and market intelligence.
• Translate market trends into practical customer solutions, and sales enablement materials.
• Support major pursuits, proposals, and supplier-enabled opportunities with category expertise.
• Identify customer opportunities with Sales to improve positioning and pipeline development.
• Collaborate with Vendor Management to understand supplier capabilities and gaps.
