• 3+ years of purchasing experience in wholesale distribution, manufacturing or construction supply.
• Experience negotiating cost and supplier terms.

Responsibilities

• Keep branches supplied with electrical wire, conduit, and plumbing pipe to meet contractor and end-user needs.
• Negotiate best cost and supplier terms, including payment terms, freight, rebates, and return policies.
• Track markets and lead times to protect margin and stay competitive.
• Forecast demand with branch managers to avoid stockouts and manage inventory.
• Support large quotes and pricing for projects to win and keep business.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, focusing on performance and delivery.
• Report on KPIs like cost savings, inventory turns, and gross margin.
