Job summary

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join the Leaders Choice Insurance Services team in the Sacramento metro region. The role focuses on serving as a strategic advisor and primary relationship manager for an assigned book of commercial business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of commercial insurance account management experience.
• Experience independently managing a commercial book of business.
• Experience presenting insurance recommendations and renewal strategies to clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary insurance advisor and relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of commercial clients, delivering exceptional service and strategic consultative support.
• Analyze client operations, business objectives, risk exposures, and insurance needs to develop customized coverage recommendations and risk management strategies.
• Lead client meetings, renewal strategy discussions, coverage reviews, and presentations with minimal supervision.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support client retention and growth objectives.
• Negotiate coverage terms, pricing, and program structures with insurance carriers to secure competitive and comprehensive insurance solutions.
• Lead the account renewal process, including risk assessment, marketing strategy development, carrier negotiations, coverage analysis, and presentation of renewal options.
