Job summary

Avania is hiring a Manager, Commercial Contracts to lead and execute complex commercial agreements across sponsors, vendors, confidentiality and site agreements. You will draft, review, negotiate, and close contracts, ensuring alignment with Avania's business strategy and legal protections.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor contract lifecycles, maintain templates, and support data protection compliance, including GDPR and HIPAA considerations where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Ability to manage multiple contract types (global sponsor, vendor, NDA).
• Knowledge of data protection practices and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive, negotiate, review, and process contracts in a commercially reasonable manner.
• Lead client and supplier contract negotiations based on templates and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain templates and negotiation tools for contract processes.
• Monitor expiration dates and coordinate follow-up actions.
