Qualifications

PhD in Communication or related field is required; ABD applicants near completion will be considered if the degree is conferred by August 2027.
Must demonstrate evidence of teaching excellence and scholarly productivity.

Responsibilities

Teach a variety of public relations courses at the undergraduate level, including public relations writing, theory, research methods, and capstone courses.
Teach strategic communication courses at the graduate level.
Incorporate experiential, project-based, client-based, and community-engaged learning where appropriate.
Maintain an active research program contributing to scholarly study of public relations and strategic communication.
Publish scholarly work in peer-reviewed outlets and present research at conferences.
Pursue interdisciplinary research and external funding opportunities; mentor and advise students.
