Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking an accomplished Vice President & Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing services across the organization from its Louisville, Kentucky campus. This role drives standards of practice, quality improvement, and governance to sustain Magnet excellence and high patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior nursing leadership in acute care.
• Kentucky RN license current.
• Leadership certification through ACHE, AONL, or KONL required or within two years of hire.
• Experience implementing new programs, processes, systems and patient care delivery models.
• Strong mentoring, interpersonal, analytical and financial management skills; physician relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for nursing services.
• Establish standards of professional nursing practice and organization-wide care programs.
• Drive quality, safety, and evidence-based care in line with regulatory requirements.
• Promote shared governance and Magnet excellence throughout the organization.
• Develop nursing workforce strategies, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Evaluate healthcare technologies and innovative care delivery models.
