Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Sr. Program Manager, CMC Portfolio Management to lead the development and maintenance of CMC plans for Product Presentation & Device Strategy Teams (PPDST) across R&D/Operations.

You will manage rosters, timelines, swim lanes, and scenario planning with senior leaders and external partners. You will excel in program management, guiding cross-functional teams and representing Development Sciences to senior stakeholders while advancing critical CMC projects and due diligence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field with 8+ years in pharma/biotech; or Master's with 6+; or Doctorate with 2+ years.
• Accreditation in PM or process improvement preferred (e.g. PMP, LEAN Six Sigma).
• 2+ years PM experience with cross-functional leadership; ability to influence and present proposals clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced PM support to complex drug development and on-market LCM projects; create/maintain CMC plans in AMP.
• Lead PPDST Team meetings; set agenda, capture actions, drive accountability, and ensure milestones.
• Develop multiple project scenarios; monitor risks; perform root cause analyses; escalate as needed.
• Ensure right tools/reports/data for accurate resource estimates.
• Support knowledge management for PPDST (SharePoint/Team sites) materials.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement; mentor junior staff; lead small teams.
