Job summary

Aurex is seeking a Program Manager to augment the Strategic SATCOM program office, coordinating programs across performance, cost, schedule, and risk. This role will lead acquisition documentation and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely delivery.

On-site work at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, CA is required. The role demands leadership in acquisition management, cloud modernization, and cross-functional collaboration with DoD partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years in DoW acquisition planning, contract management, and business operations.
• 4+ years in program management affecting cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs.
• 2+ years planning/executing cloud infrastructure programs.
• Experience with DoW acquisition, systems engineering, digital transformation, or cloud modernization.
• Experience identifying program risks and developing handling plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience in IL4/IL5/IL6 environments, including classified/disconnected environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced setting.
• On-site work five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage program and project performance across cost, schedule, and risk.
• Coordinate and close acquisition and contract documentation.
• Build and maintain external stakeholder relationships to support delivery.
• Identify risks and opportunities; propose responses and handling plans.
• Make cost, schedule, and performance tradeoff recommendations.
