Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Engineering Manager for Cloud Computing Architecture to lead a team of Cloud Solutions Architects within the Cloud Architecture & Strategy group. This role involves advising customers on scalable, secure cloud designs, coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering tasks, and guiding cloud migrations from conception to deployment.

Minimum requirements include a CS/STEM degree and 6+ years of cloud experience, with proven leadership and collaboration across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
At least 6 years of experience with cloud systems and related technologies
Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and coordinating complex technical tasks
Ability to translate customer needs into viable instructions for engineers
Experience with at least one public cloud vendor (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Responsibilities

Lead the Cloud Architecture & Strategy section within CPAD.
Advise customers on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud architectures and strategies.
Recruit, hire, and onboard staff; develop team through coaching and mentoring.
Interface with program offices and government customers to ensure successful cloud deployments.
Perform analyses and provide guidance on cloud migrations and technology decisions.
