Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Distinguished Cloud Architect to lead centralized engineering practices for cloud platforms, creating reference architectures and reusable content to enable rapid, secure deployments. You will partner with engineering teams, drive security-focused IaC, and mentor architects to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years in technology, including 5+ years as a Cloud Architect, with experience in large-scale cloud Migrations.
• Advanced expertise in GCP and/or AWS, with certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).
• Hands-on experience with DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud patterns, IAM, security, and enterprise design principles.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or PHP, with cloud-native development practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized engineering practices for cloud platforms and reference architectures.
• Develop and evangelize standards, guardrails, and reusable implementations.
• Provide leadership on secure abstraction-layer and IaC solutions for rapid cloud deployment.
• Create roadmaps and communicate with management and stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and architects to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security and Risk to implement guardrails and security controls.
