Job summary

BMO Harris Bank is seeking a Banking and Investment Advisor to serve as the primary client contact, uncover financial needs, and deliver holistic banking and investment solutions in a compliant framework.

The role involves collaboration with Financial Advisors, COIs, and the community to grow assets, deepen relationships, and promote digital platforms, while meeting sales targets and maintaining risk standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a financial services organization with knowledge of banking products, pricing strategies and profitability.
• Licensing: SIE; Life & Health insurance; Series 6/63/65 or Series 7/66; must obtain within 120 days if not held.
• Strong deposit, loan and credit knowledge; brokerage and insurance products understanding.
• In-depth client portfolio management and advisory capabilities.
• Regulatory compliance and risk management awareness.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary client contact to uncover financial needs and provide holistic banking/investment solutions.
• Collaborate with Financial Advisor, COIs, and community to grow AUM and acquire new assets.
• Provide financial advice and recommendations using a defined banking/advisory solution set.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities; connect clients with experts.
• Develop business plans and sales strategies to meet targets.
• Promote adoption of digital platforms and client onboarding support.
