Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a results-driven Financial Advisor to act as the primary client contact, uncover financial needs, and provide holistic banking and investment solutions in a compliant framework. The role emphasizes new client acquisition, growing AUM, and increasing investment penetration within portfolios.

In partnership with Financial Advisors and COIs, you will guide clients using a defined solution set, while promoting digital platforms and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• SIE Exam and Series 6/63/65 licenses required.
• State Life and Health insurance licenses required.
• Series 7 and Series 66 licenses preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree or equivalent in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uncover financial needs and provide holistic banking and investment solutions.
• Build relationships with clients to grow assets under management.
• Promote digital platforms and guide clients to adopt digital features.
• Collaborate with Financial Advisor for complex client needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and risk management.
• Develop and execute a business plan to achieve sales objectives.
• Identify opportunities for cross-sell and referral partnerships.
