Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Litigation Attorney for our Hartford, CT office. The role entails managing cases from inception through resolution, with hands-on responsibility and direct client contact in a collaborative boutique environment.

The ideal candidate will have a JD and CT Bar admission, 4+ years in civil litigation, strong research/writing skills, and the ability to manage deadlines while communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and the court.

Qualifications

• JD degree required.
• Admission to the Connecticut Bar in good standing required.
• 4+ years of civil litigation experience required.
• Strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills required.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and communicate with clients and counsel clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse civil defense caseload from filing through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, reports and other litigation documents.
• Advise clients and insurers with clear, practical recommendations.
• Conduct legal research and develop well-supported litigation strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations and trial preparation.
