• Seven (7) years of progressively responsible local government management and leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Qualifying professional experience may substitute for the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Translate Council policy into action across all departments.
• Prepare and administer the annual budget and capital improvement program.
• Oversee purchasing and financial reporting and advise the Council on fiscal matters.
• Lead department directors, set performance expectations, and foster accountability.
