Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee accounting and finance functions for the utility to ensure reliability of systems.
• Develop financial strategies and annual budgets.
• Forecast long-range financial plans and capital investments.
• Ensure regulatory reporting compliance.
• Present monthly revenues and expenses to the Board with detailed financial condition.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, debt issuance and refinancing, investments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local debt requirements.
• Oversee the development of fiscal budgets for all departments.
• Prepare complete year-end financial statements for the Board.
