Job summary

University of California, Los Angeles seeks an accomplished enterprise-minded leader to serve as Senior Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration and Chief Operating and Financial Officer.

Reporting to the Chancellor, this role unifies UCLA’s financial, administrative, capital and operational functions under a single executive mandate to strengthen alignment, stewardship, accountability, and institutional effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Senior-level leadership experience across finance, operations, capital, facilities or administration.
• Ability to translate strategy into multi-year resource plans and priorities.
• Experience modernizing systems, reporting and decision support.
• Familiarity with shared governance and distributed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, operations, capital, facilities and administration across UCLA’s distributed structure.
• Serve as strategic partner to Chancellor and senior leadership to integrate functions into one enterprise platform.
• Drive financial stewardship, accountability and operational excellence across the university.
• Engage with UCOP, Regents, faculty, staff and external stakeholders to align priorities.
