Job summary

Students for Life of America & Students for Life Action are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations, planning, and reporting. The CFO will work closely with the President, EVP, and Board to ensure sound financial strategy, controls, and compliance.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, tax compliance, cash flow management, and partnerships with auditors and financial advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as CFO or finance leader in nonprofit sectors.
• Public accounting background and familiarity with 501(c)(3)/501(c)(4) structures.
• Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees financial planning, strategy, and organizational structure.
• Reports to the President, EVP, and Board on financial performance and metrics.
• Leads annual budget development and financial reporting to the Board.
• Coordinates audit, tax readiness, and regulatory compliance with external advisors.
• Manages cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Oversees accounts payable and financial operations, ensuring internal controls.
