Job summary

Wausau Tile is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide executive leadership for financial strategy, performance, and business operations. The CFO will partner with the President and executive team to enable profitable growth, operational excellence, risk management, and long-term objectives.

The role oversees accounting, financial reporting, planning, capital management, and strategic initiatives, aligning financial goals with company strategy and manufacturing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership.
• Experience serving in senior financial roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• CPA or MBA/advanced degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the organization.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and growth initiatives.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Develop and monitor internal controls and compliance with regulations.
