Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controller/CFO for a Maryland/DC region law firm to lead accounting and financial operations. The role partners with firm leadership and oversees FP&A, budgeting, cash management and trust accounting.

The successful candidate will transform financial reporting, dashboards and KPIs, while mentoring the accounting team and ensuring strong internal controls. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Progressive financial leadership experience in professional services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial operations for the firm.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to leadership.
• Develop FP&A processes, budgets, forecasting and dashboards.
• Oversee trust/IOLTA accounting and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop the Accounting Department and improve processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
