Raise the Future in Denver seeks a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to lead the organization’s financial strategy across multiple states and programs. The CFO will drive budgeting, forecasting, grant management, and internal controls, while translating complex data into actionable insights for the CEO, senior leadership, and the Board.

This role blends high‑level vision with hands‑on execution to sustain growth.

Qualifications

• Nonprofit financial leadership experience, preferably multi‑state or multi‑program.
• Experience strengthening financial sustainability, forecasting, and resource alignment with strategy.
• Ability to translate complex financial information for non‑financial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and long‑range forecasting.
• Oversee grants budgeting/monitoring and multi‑program financial management.
• Ensure strong internal controls, reporting, and GAAP compliance.
• Partner with CEO/Board to align finances with mission and program growth.
• Develop dashboards and metrics for leadership to make informed decisions.
