Job summary

VALT Enterprizes, Inc. is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership across defense, R&D, and commercial aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.
• Aerospace/defense/government contracting experience preferred.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, cash flow, reporting, and long-range planning.
• Experience with government funding, equity/debt, or non-dilutive funding strategies.
• Experience with CPFF and government contract cost accounting, FAR/DFARS and DCAA.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive financial leadership and partner with CEO/Board on strategy and risk.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, cash flow, performance metrics, and reporting.
• Lead fundraising and capital formation activities with investors and lenders.
• Manage government contract accounting and CPFF contractual requirements.
• Oversee cost structures, indirect rates, cost allocation, and profitability across programs.
• Collaborate with operations and program teams on budgets, costs, and EACs.
• Lead financial support for government and commercial proposals and pricing.
• Ensure scalable internal controls, governance, and effective close processes.
• Oversee treasury activities, liquidity planning, and relationships with banks.
