Job summary

Concord Hospitality seeks a proactive Catering & Sales Manager to lead social and corporate catering events, including guest room bookings. You will drive revenue through selling, event management, and exceptional guest service, with a flexible schedule including weekends.

Lead a team to deliver flawless events, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with hotel departments for outstanding experiences. A strong focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in catering sales, hotel convention services, banquet management, hotel sales, or culinary arts (or equivalent).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Guest-focused with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Sell and manage social and corporate catering events, including guest rooms, banquet food & beverage, and upselling contracted groups.
• Negotiate contracts, suggest menus, and coordinate room setups according to policy and client needs.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction.
• Generate new business through solicitation, networking, and follow-up with past clients.
• Finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintain accurate event records.
• Lead pre-event, on-site, and post-event communications to ensure service excellence.
• Monitor budgets, sales quotas, and revenue opportunities; implement strategies to increase catering revenue during low-demand periods.
• Conduct site tours for prospective clients and facilitate client meetings as needed.
• Train, delegate, and guide staff to ensure smooth operation of events and service standards.
