Job summary

PPC Flex is seeking a strategic Category Manager – Flexible Packaging to lead the management of flexible packaging solutions across our product lines. You will optimize supplier performance, balance cost efficiency with quality, and collaborate with purchasing, engineering, sales, operations, and sustainability teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of purchasing and/or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Flexible Packaging.
• Experience with supplier scorecards and performance management.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the strategic sourcing plan for films and related packaging materials.
• Identify, pursue, implement, and document supplier improvement initiatives.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and internal requirements to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Administer and report on supplier performance using scorecards and provide feedback for improvements.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks to ensure continuity of film materials.
