Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, Ohio is seeking a Category Management Director for Reliability and Mechanical Integrity Services. You will negotiate, support and administer Industrial Contractor Services agreements across the enterprise, developing sourcing strategies to improve efficiency, reliability and cost predictability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data (TCO and should-cost modeling) and manage KPI performance with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four (4) or more years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned categories to optimize the supply base and deliver maximum value to the Business.
• Identifies and executes value delivery (cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue enhancement) and risk reduction opportunities within assigned categories.
• Analyzes and interprets data for decision-making and actions in support of category strategy, including TCO and should cost modeling.
• Develops, implements, and manages category strategies with focus on value proposition, commercial agreement execution and administration.
• Develops and manages strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to align on category strategies and requirements.
• Develops and manages KPIs for measuring performance for key suppliers.
