Job summary

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a Category Supplier Manager to develop category strategies, lead strategic sourcing, and deliver outstanding cost, supply, and resilience results at Micron.

You will collaborate with Global and Regional Category Managers to negotiate contracts, drive savings, and enhance supplier performance using data analytics and AI-enabled tools while supporting a sustainable and diverse supply base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of procurement/supply chain experience.
• Willingness to learn category management and strategic sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies for managed categories and align with Global/Regional Managers and internal partners.
• Lead or participate in negotiations for contracts, extensions, and renewals; transfer, etc., and drive cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal partners to improve cost-effectiveness, supply chain resilience, and supplier performance.
